1000 Beschreibung The dataset contains data from 10 normal hearing listeners, 10 listeners with symmetric hearing loss, and 11 listeners with asymmetric hearing loss. 1_Sex_Age_HAuser_Asym_deltaPTA4.csv contains for each group general information as gender, age, hearing aid user and difference in pure tone average between the left and right ear which was used for grouping of the listeners with hearing loss. 2_AirConduction_Left.csv and 3_AirConduction_right.csv contains the air conduction thresholds from audiometry for the left and right ear, respectively. 4_BoneConduction_Left.csv and 5_BoneConduction_Right.csv contains the bone conduction thresholds from audiometry for the left and right ear, respectively. 6_Centralization.csv contains the CU values of a loudness matching paradigm as described in the reference. 7_BinauralFusion.csv contains the data of a binaural fusion experiment, where the listeners indicated from which direction the stimulus was perceived. 8_BinauralBroadbandLoudnessScaling.csv and 9_MonauralNarrowbandLoudnessScaling_Left_Right.csv contain loudness scaling data with presentation level and responses from the loudness scale in CU of different stimuli. All experiments and stimulus generation are described in detail in the referenced publication.

1000 Hinweise zur Nutzung The xlsx file serves to enhance readability, whereas the csv files solely meet the open file format requirements for reliable long-term archiving. The xlsx file primarily uses three colors: blue for normal-hearing subjects, orange for subjects with symmetric hearing loss, and yellow for subjects with asymmetric hearing loss. In the centralization experiment, two lighter shades of these colors are used additionally. The color shades are used for indicating the three loudness categories (15 CU = dark, 25 CU = medium, 35 CU = light). In the binaural fusion and lateralization experiment, one lighter shade for each color is used to indicate the response category, while the darker shade represents the loudness category. In the binaural broadband loudness scaling experiment, one lighter shade for each color is used for the loudness category, while the darker shade represents the sound pressure level. In the monaural narrowband loudness scaling experiment, three additional lighter shades are used for each color. The darkest shade indicates the loudness category for the right ear, the next lighter shade represents the sound pressure level for the right ear, the second lightest shade indicates the loudness category for the left ear, and the lightest shade represents the sound pressure level for the left ear.
